Hello Fabulous!
Let’s get into our positive FLOW on today….
As I sit here doing my “daughter-duty” (as my mother calls it), I think about how the cycle of life brings us from one point to the other. Our parents raise us and then as time goes on, we notice that roles begin to change little by little until they’re reversed…..you end up being the one to look after your parents.
I can honestly say I’m enjoying the process. When I look back, I can say that I’ve always been led to do whatever I could for those that imparted in me.
While I was pregnant with my first son, I worked Monday through Thursday. So, my Fridays were dedicated to my grandmother. I would pick her up, we’d go to breakfast at Ram’s Horn and then I’d take her to run her errands and any scheduled appointments. She never drove and loved being chauffeured. Me, I loved having her undivided attention. So, it was a win-win.
So, as I continue to do my “daughter-duty”, I smile because I’m doing what I love!
