If you can’t tell by now, I’m in love with nature. It speaks to my very soul. I love the smell of the rain and fresh cut grass (even though I’m allergic); I love the sound of the birds and the leaves rustling in the wind; and then there’s the flower. Have you ever picked up a flower (a rose, perhaps) and really looked at it? The intricate detail of each petal and its bold fragrance….wow! Nothing compares….except……YOU!
There are some very intricate details that are unique to you and that the Creator carefully fashioned in your very identity. There is a bold fragrance that is recognized by all that are around you. You have your own sound in the earth; a sound that no one can duplicate. The elements of your life were purposely put together to form the perfect YOU! (Rom. 8:28)
The next time you hold a flower in your hand, make it your world for that moment. Then find a mirror, look into that mirror, and begin to see yourself as God sees you. You’re the apple of His eye, and He loves you with an intensity that cannot be explained; He is completely focused on YOU!
