Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. ~~Psalm 24:8
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. ~~I John 4:4
Why is it easier to believe in victory for someone else’s life and not for ourselves? The Word says that He is in us. Therefore, we house victory. Yet, every situation defeats us.
As stated in Luke 4:32, Jesus spoke with authority/power….so, let Him speak through you! When you look at the situation/battle you’re currently facing, remember that He, the Lord is strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle…..so, let Jesus fight for you!
We face evil on a daily basis: bosses with no compassion or conscious, drivers with “Road Rage”, sabotaging co-workers, and sometimes we find that even our homes are not safe havens because evil lurks around. But there’s this King of Glory, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle…..Hallelujah!!!!…..that will stand up strong on the inside of you and the evil doesn’t have a chance!
No matter what you’re facing today, remember that you possess much POWER because of who lives inside of you! All you have to do is trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.
So, we have to consider this: our finite and natural minds cannot understand His infinite and supernatural power. But, trusting in Him alleviates the need to strive in our own strength; moving out of the way for God to do what we can’t.
