As I turn in for the night, I sit and ponder my purpose in life. I have experienced things that I have not yet told. While, I also have more to experience to reach my destiny.
Tonight, I am grateful for the ups and downs in my life and wait with anticipation to see how God will use them for my good.
- The times I cried had purpose.
- The times it hurt so bad I couldn’t cry had purpose.
- The times I got it wrong had purpose.
- The times I got it right had purpose.
- To know love and to have lost it had purpose.
I tell others that there is no accident with God. Everything that happens is on purpose with purpose. We don’t surprise God with our detours, scenic routes, or our wrong turns. He loves us through those times and steers us back in the right direction (if we let Him).
Looking too far ahead doesn’t allow us to be present in the moment and glean from what’s needed on our journey. There are lessons to be learned, wisdom needed that we can only obtain from experience for the next level, and seized opportunities.
So, I’m looking forward to “Purpose” and what it brings tomorrow.
Goodnight!
