Hello FLOW10 Family,
I was sitting and thinking of all the things that I’ve been through and all of the things God has already used to bring Him glory in my life.
I was the product of 2 teenagers trying to be grown…and here I am! Lol!
My mother wasn’t suppose to amount to anything (she defied odds…her strength and determination is beyond description), I was suppose to walk in my parents footsteps and be a teenage mom (was married with a house and minivan with 2 children and a dog…LOL), and I was never expected to actually do anything past getting a GED or high school diploma (I have a Bachelors Degree, 2 Masters Degrees, and a Doctorate Degree).
WOW…were they off track! Instead, I’ve achieved everything I’ve set my mind to do, and I’ve been able to continuously put a smile on my parents’ faces.
Alongside my parents, the power of praying grandmothers, and a dynamic duo (the late Pastor & Lady Judson), the devil (nor those word curses) didn’t have a chance.
Why am I sharing this? Because I want you to know down in your “knower” that you don’t have to be what others want you to be or say you are.
Not only did the “haters” give me the motivation to succeed, but it was instilled in me that as a man thinketh, so is he.
You can “be” who you were created to “be”…and that state of “being” doesn’t come from any man…God is the author and finisher of our faith.
