Life is about balancing. We balance the personal, professional, spiritual and emotional aspects of our lives like a juggling act.
It’s important to make sure to nurture our relationships. It’s important to work hard in our professions to make ourselves marketable and keep ourselves relevant. It’s also important to continue to tap into our Higher Power for insight and strength in order for us to be healthy emotionally.
Balancing these areas doesn’t mean that all areas will get an equal share all the time. However, it does mean we should always be rotating what’s priority. But, keep it simple…
When you’re feeling disconnected, stop to give attention to what you’re feeling. Then, begin to look for ways to get back on track.
You can also schedule daily downtime where you dedicate time to evaluate your day and decompress.
Whatever you decide, make sure you put things in place to reel you back in alignment.
