Make sure you take the time you need for you.

As I reflect on yesterday and curl up with my book, I want to thank everyone who took time out of their day to bless me in word, deed, and/or gifts. I truly felt loved today.
Although this year has been a year of uncertainty, disappointment and surprises (not all the good kind), I know that God is in control and He continues to shower His love on me.
God used (and continues to use) some amazing people in my life. There are no words to describe how blessed I am to have connected with you.
My challenge for you is to look at all of what life has had to offer you, and make the decision that you’re going to take it in to make sure you’re getting everything you need to get from it. Then, toss away the bones (those things that don’t serve you). But, just like my Grandmother always said to me, “Make sure you eat all the meat off that bone before you throw away that bone.”
