Learn From Your Pain, Don’t Live It In!

Hey FLOW!!

Reflecting this evening on 2020 and how uncomfortable it has been, I’m learning to celebrate the progress. I don’t know what your experiences have been, but I want to tell you that it’s imperative you enjoy the journey in order to appreciate (to the fullest) coming out on the other side.

And yes, coming out on the other side means you’re not wallowing in the uncomfortable parts.

We’ve all had to develop “new norms” and make drastic changes in order to stay healthy. We’ve also grown to appreciate life more than we ever have before, which isn’t a bad thing. Families are closer, because people have had to slow down and maybe even work from home. Now, there is a greater appreciation for one another. Or, maybe you’re that one that needed to know just how much of a hand-full your little ones are during the school day because they’re attending virtually.

Whatever the change, make sure you’re looking at it from all angles. Don’t just look at the inconveniences or the things that are not-so-comfortable. Look at all the things you’ve gained during this time.

I’m savoring every moment, no matter how it makes me feel. I want to learn from it all and I don’t want to miss a thing. I’m believing that all things are working together for my good and I want to see how this season plays out. What about you?
