I use to do this every time I had a not-so-good encounter where I felt the other person won an argument, got the best of me, or offended me in some way. I would be disappointed in myself that I didn’t think of the “right” words to say in those situations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s funny to me now, but I did this often. What I learned as I got older:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✅ I didn’t know how to be mean/malicious.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ I genuinely didn’t think the way others did.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ I had to let go of the “should’ve – could’ve”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
