If you’re like me, you tend to be a little hard on yourself from time to time. You require more out of you, you push you a little more, and you don’t let you off the hook most times. But, what I learned from being my own worse critic and enemy, is that it’s easy to be hard on yourself because the world won’t give you any grace (quick to judge and quick to condemn as if they had a heaven or a hell to put you in). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This week, let’s do something a little different while we speak the affirmations we speak. Let’s speak affirmatively about who we are and what we will accomplish, but also speak kind to ourselves if we don’t meet those expectations this week, next month, or in the next few months. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you’re working towards your goals and working to be a better you today than you were yesterday, you’ve already succeeded and accomplished much this week just in your mindset.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Give yourself the space for grace. You forgive others and put up with a lot of their mess. Why not you? You should want each day to be a “win”. But so what, if it doesn’t work out exactly how you thought it would.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
