Today, I was asked to share about the things I love to do and what I’ve accomplished. I use to shrink from the questions that require me to talk about me in the workplace, because no matter how I answered the question (or the fact that I was asked and didn’t volunteer), I would be viewed as being arrogant.
As I began to answer her questions, I started smiling on the inside. I could feel myself bubbling over with excitement as I talked about the people I’ve had the opportunity to help.
The one take-away for her was when I told her, “God has me in the space I’m in to keep me humble.”
The take-away for me was when she told me, “I’m impressed. That’s a good way to look at it.”
The blessing is in knowing that all things work together for my good.
