We all get excited about the ideas that come to mind and we’re ready to see that idea come to fruition…yesterday…LOL!
What I’ve learned through the process is that there are going to be some decisions that will need to be made immediately. But, there are other things that will need you to wait on the Creator to assign them to you.
The Bible tells us not to promote a novice because it’s easy for them to fall. Why? Because they haven’t gone through the preparation stages. When you go through the preparations stages it took to achieve the promotion, you won’t misuse anyone, you won’t mistreat anyone, and you definitely won’t get prideful and feel superior to others. When you understand that the promotion comes with a responsibility to SERVE, your heart and mind are in the right place.
I always say, when you’re in a leadership position or a position of influence, people should leave your presence better, smarter, and/or expanded.
Take a look around…If none of the above is happening, please remember you’re dealing with those who haven’t invested in purpose…only in self.
