Only Run With Purpose

Good Morning FLOW!

We have to know when each individual race is over in order for us to know when we should stop. Otherwise, we will continue to run aimlessly and without purpose. When I got this revelation, I had to take a look at the race I’m in and if I’ve already crossed the finish line and just didn’t realize it.

What about you? Are you aimlessly running and the race is over?

The first thing we need to take a look at is whether or not there’s other people running in the race with us. If you’re the only one running, you’re not in a race. You should see people in the stands and people on the track with you.

The next thing we need to take a look at is the time. There is a time and season for everything. So, take a look. Make sure it’s not nighttime.

Then, after you’ve looked for the people and checked the time, you must look at the season. If there’s snow on the track, the race has been over a while ago.

I always suggest we enter this race called life and run it like our lives depend on it – ’cause it does. But, make sure you pay attention to the finish line for each individual race. The end of each individual race is that rest period we all need…and when we have the proper rest, we have what we need to run again.
