Good Morning FLOW!
This month has been trying and spectacular all at the same time! I’ve experienced some pruning as well as sudden growth in my life and business.
This year, I made the shift in my mindset, set some intentions, and increased my expectations for myself and those in my circle. I can’t see myself going back to thinking and moving like I did in 2021. Not that 2021 was a bad year (it was actually pretty awesome)…it just wouldn’t fit into 2022.
My motto has always been to ask the question, “What’s Next?” Don’t get me wrong, I’m big on celebrating my goals being reached and seeing the manifestation of all my work. But, what I’ve found is sometimes we stay in celebration mode a little too long (losing momentum) and then wonder why we’re stuck…and I don’t ever want to be stuck again. I was told that the next great idea comes in your mountaintop moments. So, while you’re celebrating, you should always be listening for the “What’s Next?” There’s no greater moment.
One of the things that helped me gain momentum this year is putting my writing/editing skills to the test launching the publishing company (FLOW Write Publishing, LLC), and answering all opportunities to share what I do (I found I was a little reserved about telling others about my gifts and talents….crazy, right?).
Saying ‘yes’ to an interview with Voyage Michigan Magazine, as well as submissions to Color Code and Omega Psi Phi this month, have not only boosted my exposure, but also my confidence in the contributions I can make as a whole.
Check out the interview with Voyage Michigan Magazine. Then, begin to do as I have done this year…make it a habit to not shy away from opportunities to shine in this world. We’re all here for a reason and it would be a waste for you to visit earth and leave here without ever making your mark.
