Hello Fabulous!

There are times when we look at our circumstances and get frozen. We dwell in what’s going on and get sidetracked on our goals.

Last week was a challenging week and I learned a lot about myself and the people around me. I could’ve folded or quit on my goals and let myself focus on what was going on. But, I took the weekend to regroup and remind myself what was important to me and my future.

The first thing:

I had to put emotions aside and look at everything from outside of myself.

The second thing:

I sat and reflected on the week…thought about each conversation/encounter and took the lesson from it.

The third thing:

It was important that I recommit to my progress and decide to reengage. My goals take precedence over things that are contrary to where/who I want to be.

I was hard on myself for having a human reaction because I had been able to have my reaction in private. This past week wasn’t the case. So, I went through a gamut of emotions and was critical of myself for having them publicly.

What I’ve discovered….I have been through so much in all areas of my life and an emotional response to “something” was bound to happen. I would’ve preferred it be in the privacy of my own home, but I believe there are no accidents in my life and there is a purpose for all things.

I share this to encourage you to push forward no matter what, make you priority, and focus on your goals with no apologies.

~~Keep FLOWing
